1. Kentwell Hall
A 15th-16th century stately home in the village of Long Melford near Sudbury in Suffolk, with gardens, outbuildings and a rare breeds farm. Tudor period re-enactment events are held at Kentwell every year.

In Knightmare Series 7, the Level 1 area called Grimdale was filmed at Kentwell Hall & Gardens:

[Related Image] Rothberry, the apothecary and alchemist, had a stall "just outside of town" where his explosive experiments would not put others at risk. Kentwell has its own alchemists' hut on the edge of the grounds, which is used during some re-creations of Tudor life. The stall seen in Knightmare is located in the pottery wood and now has a tiled roof.

[Related Image] Team 6 of Series 7 used a spyglass and met Romahna outside the Tudor cottage.
